Elizabeth Morris Gee Daughtery

Mrs. Elizabeth Morris Gee Daughtery, 84, died, Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Lando Church of God with Pastor Andrew Flippo officiating. Interment will follow in Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, also Wednesday at Lando Church of God.

Mrs. Daughtery was born September 6, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Minnie Morris. She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from the State of SC having worked at the local rest area. Earlier in her career, she worked with Manetta Mills in Lando, SC as a weaver. She was a member of Lando Church of God. Elizabeth was a God-fearing woman and loved her family.

She is survived by her husband James Howard Daughtery; one daughter, Tracy Skeens (Harold, Jr.) of Richburg, SC; one son, Race L. Gee (Jennifer) of Boiling Springs, SC; three grandchildren, Christy Skeens and Christopher K. Skeens both of Richburg, SC and Shianne Gee of Great Falls, SC; one brother Billy Morris of Lancaster, SC and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. “Buck” Gee and one brother Arthur Morris.
