Ella Blankenship Huffstetler

Leesville: EllaBlankenship "Granny" Huffstetler, 83, formerly of Black Mountain, NC died at the home of her daughter, Monday, July 6th, 2009. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls, SC. Rev. Mike Sorrell officiating. A native of Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jack Ellis and Ida Jane Webb Blankenship. Surviving are a daughter Margaret Ann Downs of Asheville, NC, two step-daughters Patricia Sharp of Elgin, SC, and Pamela Spencer of Leesville, SC, three sisters, Malla Stone, Jackie Medcalf, Juanita Harwood all of Asheville, NC. 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, and 17 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Janice Farnam. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3000 Northeast Medical Park, Suite 109, Columbia, SC, 29223.
