Erelene Mcmurray (Jean) Garner

Blackstock Mrs. Erelene Moore (Jean) McMurray Garner 80, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at her home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. Mrs. Garner was born July 7, 1943 in Chester County and was a daughter of the late Tom Moore and Edna Massey Moore. She attended the schools of Great Falls and worked at both JP Stevens and Great Falls Knitwear. She attended Church of the Nazarene and Mitford Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Johnny Garner; three sons, Kenny McMurray (Sharon Pitts ) of Blackstock, SC, Eugene McMurray (Lynn) of Blackstock, SC, James McMurray ( Shannon Edwards) of Great Falls, SC; one daughter, Cheryl McMurray (Jan Friday) of Aiken, SC; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by one son Ricky McMurray, her late husband, Boots McMurray; granddaughter Jessica McMurray and great-grandson, Collin Roberts; two brothers, Tommy Moore and Edward Moore; one sister, Barbara Collins.
