Great Falls Mrs. Ethel Gardner Yarbrough, 85, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Helms-Gordon Assisted Living Facilty in Fort Lawn.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 21, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Batchelor officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Yarbrough was born April 12, 1926 in Lancaster and was a daughter of the late Lonnie J. Gardner and Bessie Love Gardner and a widow of Andrew Nathan Yarbrough.She was employed with Cinderella Knits as a floor lady and a member of First Baptist Church where she was a faithful nursery worker for many years. She is survived by three sons, Randy Yarbrough of Columbia, Kenny Yarbrough and wife Debbie of Great Falls, and Tim Yarbrough and wife Gail of Great Falls; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Bruce Gardner; and one sister, Mary Miller.
