Great Falls Mr. Ethon Glenn Rigsby, 85, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at Providence Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Grover Johnson, Rev. Jerry Phillips, Rev. David Ussery, Rev. Andy Simpson and Rev. Jim Kirkland officiating.Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Born January 20, 1931 in Tallassee, AL, Mr. Rigsby was a son of Mr. Robert Allen Rigsby and Mrs. Geneva Gaither Rigsby. He was a graduate of Tallassee High School and retired from Acme Name Plate.Mr. Rigsby served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Danny Rigsby of Great Falls, SC; one daughter, Glennett Godfrey (Mike) of Great Falls, SC;one brother, Tommy Rigsby of Tallassee, AL; one sister, Jane Kirkland of Bamberg, SC; one granddaughter, Glenda Wyke (Brian) of Fort Mill, SC; and one great granddaughter, Briella Wyke of Fort Mill, SC.Mr. Rigsby was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie McAbee Rigsby; one daughter, Glenda Catherine Rigsby; one brother, William Rigsby; and two sisters, Betty Jo Mask and Caroline Smalley.
