Great Falls Mrs. Eunice Louise Blackwell Carter, 91, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at her home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 20, at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Thurmond Johnson and Hospice Chaplain Sam Murphy officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at First Baptist Church. Mrs. Carter was born April 16, 1926 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late Carl Blackwell and Louise Brunson Blackwell.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was a former cafeteria manager of Great Falls Schools and Camp Springs Cafeteria.Mrs. Carter was also a former kindergarten assistant.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls. She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn C. Powers (Butch) of Great Falls; one sister, Frances Temple of Great Falls; one brother, Bobby Blackwell of Blackstock; one grandson, Jimmy Carter (Wanda) of Conway; and one great granddaughter, Haleigh Carter of Aynor.Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H.“Mutt” Carter.
