Lake Wateree Mrs. Evelyn McRobie Clary, 89, died Saturday, December 3, 2011.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Lake Wateree Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Gregory officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday at Lake Wateree Baptist Church. Mrs. Clary was born October 11, 1922 in Garrett County, Maryland and was a daughter of the late Carroll McRobie and Nellie Rhodes McRobie and the widow of Willie “Bill” Clary.She attended the schools of Garrett County, Md. and received her LPN degree from the Vocational School of Nursing in Lancaster.She was a member of Lake Wateree Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Polly Clary of Irmo, SC; one sister, Betty Madigan of Deer Park, Md.; and three brothers, Robert McRobie of Deer Park, Md., Richard McRobie of Rock Hill, SC, and Orville McRobie of Waterloo, Iowa.
