Great Falls Evelyn Huntington Reid, 87, widow of James Cooley Reid,formerly of 304 Duke Street,died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at her grandson’s home at 5240 Knopf Drive. A funeralservice will be held12 Noon on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at New Beginnings Restoration Ministries, formerly known as Pentecostal Holiness Church,with Rev. Corliss Woodson and Rev. Legrand Taylor officiating.Interment will be a Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends at5240 Knopf Drive, Great Falls, SC. Born January 31, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Luther Hall Huntington and Minnie Louise Robinson. She attended Great Falls schools and retired from J. P. Stevens.Mrs. Reid was a member of New Beginnings Restoration Ministries. Mrs. Reid is survived by three sons, Jim Reid (Sandy) of Anderson, SC, Wayne Reid (Barbara) of Lancaster, SC, and Ronald Reid (Donna) of Chester, SC;two daughters, Gloria Jean Price (Thomas) of Great Falls, SC, and Debra Reid Osborne (Kenny) of Columbia, SC; eighteen grandchildren, and thirty great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy R.
