Great Falls Mrs. Fern Loraine Chambers Borntreger, 93, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Fairfield Health Care in Ridgeway, SC.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC with Bishop David Levister officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 14, at Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. Borntreger was born September 17, 1921 in Deerwood, Minnesota and was a daughter of the late Walter Chambers and Minnie Hammerbacker Chambers.She attended Woodrow School in Woodrow, Minnesota.Mrs. Borntreger was a homemaker and a great lady of faith who had a giving heart.She enjoyed playing the piano and was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God. She is survived by four sons, Matthew Lymburner of Bayport, Michigan, Mark Lymburner of Lexington, Tennessee, Luke Lymburner (Gladys) of Winnsboro, SC, and John Lymburner (Jeanette) of Lakeville, Indiana; two daughters, Frances Jane Vondran of Lexington, Tennessee and Martha Pritchard of St. Arvada, Colorado;twenty-six grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Irene Dingman of Helendale, California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husband David Borntreger and several brothers and sisters.
