George Keith Flynn

George "Flop" Flynn, 74, went to be with his Lord on December 23, 2024 after a long illness. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Republic Golf Course with Rev. Kenny Compton officiating, He was born in Chester, SC January 16,1950 to the late George Washington Flynn and the late Nell Rogers Flynn. He served in the US army and was stationed in Germany. Once home he planted his feet in a company called Defender industries where he remained for over 40 years. He lived and loved life passionately spending any free time hunting, fishing and golfing. He attended Tabernacle ministries until his illness. He loved the Lord and didn't mind sharing that with anyone. He is survived by his daughter Natalie A. Flynn, his son Shaun K. Flynn (Caroline) two grandchildren that he helped raise Megan BreAunna Gladden and Malcolm J. Means, four more granddaughters Bralyn Flynn, Aubrey Carpenter, Eva Carpenter, and Piper Carpenter, four great grandsons that he loved so much Izaiah Gladden, Levi Gladden, Adrian Gladden, and Kameron Gladden. A sister Crystal Knight (Billy) brother Rodger Flynn He also leaves behind three special nieces that he loved tremendously Dewana Looper, Tiffany Burghardt, and Dawn Butler. He was proceeded in death by his wife Margaret Ann White Flynn, his daughter Rachel Flynn Carpenter, his brother Dewey Nathaniel Flynn, his sister Charlotte Ann Tucker.
