Geraldine Marie McCormick Wilson

Mrs. Geraldine Marie McCormick Wilson, 78, died Saturday, August 23, 2025 at her home. Arrangements will be forthcoming.

Mrs. Wilson was born January 9, 1947 in Chester, SC and was the daughter of the late Jack McCormick and Helen Faulkenberry McCormick. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and attended York Tech. Geraldine was owner and operator of a certified preschool, she loved children and gave her life and career to caring for children. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Bryant S. Wilson (Tonya Vinson) and Darin Wilson both of Great Falls, SC; her dear friend and family member Patty McCormick; two grandchildren, Shane Wilson of Great Falls, SC and Samuel Ghent (Sara) of Navarre Beach, FL; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and Madison Vinson Shaw (Hank) whom she loved as her own grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 53 years, Jervey Carol Wilson; grandson Brandon Thomas Wilson; sister, Renee McCormick Mullins; brothers, Tommy and Jack “Puddin” McCormick.
