Mrs. Gertie Hicks Keziah, 86, of 282 Edwards Circle died Friday, July 17, 2009 at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, SC. A memorial servicewill be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Great Falls Church of God with Rev. James Freeman and Sister Emma Jean Freeman officiating.Interment will be private. Born December 12, 1922 in Great Falls, SC Mrs. Keziah was a daughter of Luther and Lottie Price Hicks.She attended the schools of Great Falls and was retired from JP Stevens as a weaver.She enjoyed making United States flag lapel pins and sharing them with the public.She was the widow of Frank B. Keziah. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ann Britton of Yadkinville, NC, Nancy Knight of Great Falls, SC and Karen Roberts of Sedalia, MO; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar Hicks and Bill Joe Hicks both of Great Falls and one sister, Lois Harper of Great Falls.She was preceded in death by a son Ray Douglas Keziah and a daughter Donna Faye McManus. Memorials may be made to the Great Falls Church of God, 34 Underwood Avenue, Great Falls, SC 29055 The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday at the home of Roger and Nancy Knight at 282 Edwards Circle, Great Falls.
