Gladys Clinkscales Mcmullan

Great Falls, Mrs. Gladys Clinkscales McMullan, 87, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at her home. The funeral service will be at2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Marty Roberts and Rev. Greg Batcheler officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will Receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 at the First Baptist Church. Born December 21, 1924 in Iva, South Carolina, Mrs. McMullan was the daughter of the late John Frank Clinkscales and Sara Pender Clinkscales. She was a graduate of Iva High School and retired from Belks Department Store in Great Falls as a clerk. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 70 Years, Clifton Horace McMullan; a son Dalton McMullan and wife Carolyn of Belmont, NC; a daughter Diane McMullan Austin of Great Falls; four grandchildren, Jonathan McMullan and wife Shelly of Fountain Inn, SC, Heath McMullan and wife Jessica of Charlotte, NC, Susan Roberts and husband Marty of Great Falls, and Holly Lloyd and husband Paul of Great Falls;six great-grandchildren, Jamie Lei, Brady, Kaylee, Erin, Zac, and Sara; and a sister-in-law Bobbie Clinkscales. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Butch Austin, brothers, Edwin Clinkscales, David Clinkscales, Eugene Clinkscales, and a sister Lucile Campbell.
