Gloria Jean Reid Price

Mrs. Gloria Jean Reid Price, 74, died Sunday, September 29, 2024 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00  PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

Mrs. Price was born January 4, 1950 in Chester, SC and was the daughter of the late James Cooley Reid and Evelyn Louise Huntington Reid. She attended the schools of Chester County and was a private sitter for elderly adults.

She is survived by her husband of over 31 years, Tommy Price; two sons, Larry Waters Jr. (Francis) of Spartanburg, SC and James Michael Waters (Liz) of Lancaster, SC; three daughters, Crystal Waters Wallace (Roy) of Blackstock, SC,  Jennifer Price of Mt. Holly, NC and Tammy Price Calhoun (Scott) of Fort Worth, TX; eleven grandchildren, Cameron, Josh, Raleigh, Angelicque,  Donnie, Dillon , Michaela , Summer, Kirkland, Schillaci and Skyler; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Reid ( Sandy) of Murphy, NC, Wayne Reid ( Barbara) of Lancaster, SC and Ronald Reid ( Donna) of Murphy, NC; one sister, Debbie Osborne (Kenny) of Columbia, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Remington Waters and her sister, Cathy Day.
