Blythewood, SC Mrs. Grace Jones Christopher, 94, formerly of Blythewood, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Lancaster Convalescent Center.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Roger Shuford officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church, 606 Dearborn St., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Christopher was born September 25, 1924 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Jones and Tessie Tarlton Jones.She attended the schools of Great Falls and was a retired cloth inspector for J.P. Stevens Co.Mrs. Christopher was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls. She is survived by two sons, Freddie Christopher (Juli) and Jimmy Christopher (Peggy) both of Great Falls; three daughters, Judy Christopher Hinson (Louie) of Blythewood. Linda Christopher of Blythewood and Pam Christopher Keye (John) of Lancaster; ten grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.Mrs. Christopher was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar H. Christopher; three brothers, Hazel “Popeye” Jones, H.D. Jones and Claude Jones; and two sisters, Vivian Gallman and Helen Davis.
