Grace Kimmer

Great Falls; Mrs. GraceTaylor Kimmer, 80, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Great Falls Church of God with Reverend James Freeman and Reverend Phillip Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, January 17, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home 5517 Old Winnsboro Road. Interment will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs Kimmer born September 13, 1930 a daughter of the late John Taylor and Leacy Haywood Taylor. She attended the schools of Kershaw County, was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church was retired from J. P. Stevens as a spinner and was the widow of Howard Taylor. Mrs. Kimmer is survived by one daughter, Kathy Taylor McManus and her husband Eddie, a son-in-law Culley Henson; two brothers, James Taylor of Great Falls, SC and Ernest Taylor of Kershaw, SC; three sisters, Drucilla McManus of Lancaster, SC, Gussie Keziah of Great Falls, SC and Katherine Taylor of Kershaw, SC; a niece whom she reared, June Tennant of Lancaster, SC and a special niece, Lynn Bridgers of Great Falls, SC and three grandchildren, Lacey, Christopher and Brandon McManus. She is preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Henson.
