Lancaster Mrs. Gwendolyn Thacker Gregg, 82, died Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Lancaster Health and Rehab.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2022 at Great Falls Church of Godwith Rev. Travis Shirley officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Great Falls Church of God and other times at the home of her daughter at 199 Foxdale Court, Lancaster, SC. Mrs. Gregg was born June 12, 1939 in Concordia, Kansas and was a daughter of the late Raymond U. Thacker and Frances Trobridge Thacker.She attended schools in the Kansas area and was formerly employed in textiles. Mrs. Gregg was a member of Church of God. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Taylor (Glenn) of Lancaster, SC and Sandra Wilson of Asheville, NC; nine grandchildren, Michael, John, Kim, Clint, David, Richard, Jessica, Becky and James; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Connie Chambers of Hope Mills, NC; and one brother, David Thacker of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Gregg; one son, Timothy Gregg; one great -granddaughter, Brittney; two sisters, Bonnie And Alberta; and one brother, William.
