Charlotte, NC Mr. Harold Beach Jackson, 81, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at his home in Cornelius, NC.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 22, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 14246 State Hwy. 200, Great Falls, SC, with Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday in the social hall of the church. Mr. Jackson was born July 9, 1932 in Great Falls, SC and was a son of the late Joseph T. Jackson and Vernelle B. Jackson.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School.After serving his country in the U.S. Navy, he was employed with Mill Power Supply Company.Mr. Jackson was a life-time member of Great Falls Masonic Lodge #277 and Hejaz Shrine Temple.He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Juliana J. Connors and husband Jeff of Cornelius, NC; one son, Joseph L. Jackson and wife Joanne of Charlotte, NC; and two grandchildren, Kerry Connors and Alex Jackson.He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Springs Jackson.
