Helen Orr Bankhead

Blackstock Mrs. Helen Orr Bankhead, 94, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at her home.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Hebron Presbyterian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Mrs. Bankhead was born August 13, 1919 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late Walter A. Orr and Martha Funderburk Orr.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and a homemaker.Mrs. Bankhead was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one son, Robert “Bobby” Bankhead and wife Elizabeth of Blackstock; and two granddaughters, Katharine and Danielle Bankhead of Blackstock.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S.
