GREAT FALLS, SC: Mrs. Helen Knight Floyd Williams, 90, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at her residence.The funeral will be 4:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McClure and Rev. Roger Knight officiating.The interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Born January 29, 1925 in Great Falls, SC, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Themon Knight and Maggie Knight.She attended Great Falls schools and was a retired nurse.Mrs. Williams was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and she was also active in the fellowship at Evangel Temple.Mrs. Williams was twice married and the widow of Wayne Floyd and Bennie Williams. She was reared by Estelle Knight Parker. She is survived by one son, Wayne “Doug” Floyd and his wife Sharon of Great Falls; two daughters, Marsha F. Hinson and Susan F. Smith both of Great Falls, SC; one step-son, David Williams and one step-daughter, Connie Mason both of Winnsboro, SC; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
