Henry Thomas Collins

Great Falls Mr. Henry Thomas Collins, 82, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at his home.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Wallace and Rev. Donald Wallace officiating. Mr. Collins was born June 21, 1934 in Union County, NC and was a son of the late Thomas Collins and Elizabeth Sellers Collins.He was a graduate of the schools of Union County, NC and retired as a master mechanic with J.P. Stevens after more than 30 years of service.Mr. Collins was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Chesterfield, SC. He is survived by a daughter, Diane C. Lee of Lancaster; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren; four sisters, Hulda Thomas (Bill), Katie Blackmon, Margie Hodge (Asa), and Clara Conyers (Wayne); three brothers, Carson Collins (Mary), Larry Collins, and Terry Collins (Gail).He was preceded in death by five sisters, Rhoda Munn, Betty Thomas, Grace Wallace, Beatrice Blackmon, and Mary Crawford and five brothers, Oscar Collins, Carl Collins, Jim Collins, Bobby Collins, and Jack Collins.
