Great Falls Mr. Henry Albert Lane, Jr., 68, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Grandstrand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Grover Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 7, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Lane was born January 10, 1944 in Portland, Maine and was a son of the late Henry Albert Lane, Sr. and Odessa Roberts Lane.He attended the schools of Great Falls and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.Mr. Lane retired from Chester Telephoneafter 44 years of service and was a member of Second Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Carolyn G. Lane; two sons, Keith Albert Lane of Great Falls and Christopher Allen “Chris” Lane and wife Jaime of Moravian Falls, NC;five grandchildren, Kayla Lane, Kevin Lane, Kimberly Lane, Katelyn Lane, and Caleb Lane; one brother, William L. Lane of Great Falls; three sisters, Patricia Bearden of Birmingham Al., Debbie Lane of Mt. Holly, NC, and Bonnie Williams of Lancaster, SC.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Marie Lane.
