Great Falls Mr. Homer Clinton LeVan, 93, died Sunday, July 14, 2013.The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at 3:00 PM at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Sollers and Rev. Samuel Yeakle officiating..Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. LeVan was born April 16, 1920 in Grundy County, Tennessee and was a son of the late Ed LeVan and Addiemae Ellis LeVan.He attended the schools of Grundy County, Tenn. and completed his education after his military service in Haines City, Florida.He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed for 30 years as an ornamental inspector in Florida.Mr. LeVan was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances C. LeVan; three daughters, Gail Yeakle and husband Samuel of Evansville, Indiana, Kay Cameron and husband Greg of Great Falls, SC, and Ruth Crawford and husband Will of Westport, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Michele Webster, Marie Yeakle, Kayla Cameron, and Olivia Farkas; and six great-grandchildren.
