Ida Mae Lathan Bennett

Great Falls Mrs. Ida Mae Lathan Bennett, 81, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday January 10, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Marty Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday January 10 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of Tyna Long, 4807 Edgeland Rd. Edgemoor, SC. Mrs. Bennett was born in Great Falls, SC, March 24, 1938 and was the daughter of the late John Lathan and Eve Mae Lucas Lathan. She attended the schools of Great Falls and was formerly employed with J.P Stevens in Great Falls; SC. Mrs. Bennett was a member of Mitford Baptist Church in Great Falls. She was survived by one sister Margaret Lathan Long, of Edgemoor, SC; one niece, Tyna Long of Edgemoor, SC andnephew, Joey Long of Catawba, SC.Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, Clingmon Horace Bennett, one brother John K.Toby Lathan and one sister Orma Jean Lathan Curtis.
