Inez Catoe Williams

Aiken, SC Mrs. Inez Catoe Williams, 96, died Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Second Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Tommy Howell and Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born July 5, 1926 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late William J. Catoe and Pearl Gardner Catoe. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and USC-Lancaster. She retired from Spratt Savings and Loan. Mrs. Williams was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star where she held the position of Worthy Matron and moved up to the State level. She is survived by one son, W.J. Williams (Ann) of N. Augusta, SC; four grandchildren; eight- great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two sisters, Bernice Lawrimore of Barnwell, SC and Ruth Alley of Lancaster, SC; a daughter-in-law, Linda Williams Gregg (Dave) of Covington, GA; one niece and one nephew of Barnwell, SC; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, G.C. Williams and one son, Keith Williams. Memorials may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery, P.O.
