Blythewood Mrs. Irene Elizabeth McCallum Swink, 71, died Thursday, March 17, 2022 at her home. A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM, Wednesday , March 23, 2022 at Dantzler Baker Funeral with Rev. Larry Christopher officiating.The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 23 at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Swink was born December 11, 1950 in Stuttgart, Germany and was the daughter of Rosemary Scholz McCallum and the late Thomas McCallum. She attended Dent High School in Columbia, SC and was a medical records clerk for Palmetto Baptist Hospital. She is survived by her mother Rosemary Scholz McCallum of Lexington , SC; one son Daniel Swink (Sronors) of Columbia, SC ; one daughter, Christy Sims (Scott) of Fort Mill, SC; five grandchildren, Matthew Amodio, Alyssa Sims, Kyndall Sims, Kenneth Swink and Payton Swink; three brothers, Edward McCallum of Lexington, SC Michael McCallum of Atlanta, GA and Stephen McCallum of Columbia, SC; one sister, Barbara Ann Hendrix of Newberry, SC;she was preceded in death by husband Kenneth Swink, Jr.,herson Kenneth Swink III and a brother Thomas McCallum.
