Blackstock Mr. James Kenneth Taylor, 65, died Friday, February 10, 2012, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, at Mitford Baptist Church, 467 Forest Lakes Cr., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Taylor was born February 13, 1946 in Chester and was a son of the late James Edward Taylor and Maggie Morrison Taylor.He attended the schools of Chester County and retired from J.P. Stevens as a loom fixer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Doster Taylor; four sons, Stacey Taylor and wife Melissa of Richburg, Mike Roof and wife Christi of Laurens, Mark A. Taylor of North Dakota, and Joe Roof and wife Carolyn of Blackstock; two daughters, Geraldine Taylor of Great Falls and Lisa A. Correll and husband Mike of Rock Hill; twenty-two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bud Taylor of Richburg and David Taylor of Blackstock; and two sisters, Mattie Mae Wright and Patsy Satterfield both of Great Falls.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Darlene McInville.
