James D. Bowers LANCASTER: Mr. James Douglas Bowers, 55, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Grover Johnson officiating.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Great Falls. Born September 4, 1953 in Chester County, SC, Mr. Bowers was a son of Jamison Sanders Bowers and the late Ervin E. Bowers.He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Lancaster, SC and was employed as a truck driver with Central Refrigeration Services. In addition to his mother, Jamison S. Bowers of Lancaster, Mr. Bowers is survived by his wife Sandra Grady Bowers; sons, James Allen Bowers of Lancaster and William Terry of Van Wyck, SC; daughters, Tracie T. Price of Indian Land and Chrystal V. Wilson of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Jonathan Vanderford with the U.S. Air Force in Sumter, SC, Bradley Vanderford of Lancaster, Jerrica Mackey of Indian Land, and Brelaine Price of Indian Land; three sisters, Marcy Blackmon of Heath Springs, Rebecca Bowers of Lancaster, and Michelle Bowers of Lancaster.
