James Zachary Laney

Great Falls James Zachary Laney, 15, died Monday April 26, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Chase Catledge officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the social hall of the church. James was born April 19, 2006 in Chester County and was a son of James Daris Laney and the late Angelina Harris Laney. He was a ninth grade student at Great Falls High School where he was a member of the JROTC. James attended Trinity Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, James Daris Laney; one brother, Jacob Laney; grandmother, Sue Laney; his maternal grandfather, Clarence Harris all of Great Falls, SC; maternal grandmother, Jacquelyn Harris of Charlotte, NC; many aunts, uncles and cousins with whom he had a close relationship.He was preceded in death by his mother Angelina and his grandfather Harold Laney.
