Great Falls Mr. James Edward Threatt, 64, of Woodruff, SC died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital, Spartanburg, SC.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Cameron officiating.Interment will be private. Born November 11, 1945 in Great Falls, he was the son of the late Boyce and Mary Ivey Threatt.He attended Great Falls High School and completed his education while serving in the military.He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force.Mr. Threatt was employed in the textile industry as a maintenance worker. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Higgins Threatt; two sons, James B. Threatt and Tiffany of Greer, SC and Clifton B. Threatt of Woodruff, SC; one daughter, Kelly Jackson and husband, James, of Woodruff, SC; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Carolyn Raffaldt of Great Falls, SC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC.
