LANCASTER, SC……..Mrs. Jamison Elizabeth Sanders Bowers, 78, died Thursday, September 09, 2010 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Eaves and Rev. Kelvin Hinson officiating.The interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Born September 6, 1932 in Fairfield County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Bertha Hollis Sanders Wilson.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was retired from the Lancaster County Health Department. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was the widow of Ervin Bowers. She is survived by two daughters, Marcy B. Blackmon and her husband Jimmy of Heath Springs, SC and Rebecca Bowers of Lancaster, SC; four grandchildren, Cindy Ward, Stacy Starnes, Marshall Blackmon all of Heath Springs, SC and and Michelle Bowers of Lancaster, SC; two great grandchildren, Dalton Starnes and Karlee Starnes both of Heath Springs.She was preceded in death by a son, James Bowers and grandson James Allen Bowers.
