Georgetown, SC Janice Lathan Massey, 52, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at New Beginnings Restoration Ministries with Rev. Legrand Taylor and Rev. Chuck Evans officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at New Beginnings Restoration Ministries, 4 Underwood Ave., Great Falls. Ms. Massey was born May 3, 1964 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of Carl George Lathan and the late Laurie Branham Lathan.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School.Ms. Massey was a homemaker and formerly worked as a waitress at Grand Central.She was a member of new Beginnings Restoration Ministries. She is survived by her companion of over 10 years, Danny Bone; three daughters, Amber Preston and Hanna Massey both of Great Falls and Danielle Bone of Summerville; four grandchildren, Tessa Workman, Nicholas Workman, Macy Workman, and Zander Jordan; two brothers, Richard Lathan (Robin) of Calico Rock, Arkansas and Gerald Lathan (Simone) of Georgetown; and a sister, Joyce Lathan Campbell of Great Falls.
