Jeffrey Peter Liptak

Mr. Jeffrey Peter Liptak, 58, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025. Born December 21, 1966 in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, Jeff was the son of the late Julius and Virginia Barisone Liptak. Jeff loved spending time with family and friends, whether it be watching one of his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Carolina Gamecocks play or just being in each others company, there was always a good time to be had. He especially cherished the time spent with his granddaughters, who loved their Pappy very much. He is survived by his wife, Amy Liptak; four children, Kristan (Jamie) Swygart, Megan (Darren) Ruark, Holden Ward, and Kathryn Ward; three granddaughters, Ally McKeown, Laken Swygart and Brantlee Swygart; two siblings, Michael Liptak and Christine (Bill) Knepshield. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by one brother, John Liptak. The family will receive visitors at the home of Kristan & Jamie Swygart, 5557 Brooklyn Road Great Falls, SC. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 pm, Pastor Luke Dickson officiating, with visitation being from 12:30-1:30 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6924 Wateree Road Great Falls, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jeff to Mt.
