Great Falls Mr. Jerry Chris Brown, 38, died Sunday, August 3, 2014, at his home in Panama City, Florida.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Simpson and Rev. Chuck Evans officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, August 6, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Brown was born February 2, 1976 in Chester, SC and was a son of Jerry Marvin Brown & Patricia Norsworthy.He attended the schools of Great Falls, SC and Panama City, Fl. and was employed with Smith’s Stucco and Concrete Work in Panama City, Florida. Mr. Brown is survived by his mother and step-father, Pat Burchette Norsworthy and Billy Norsworthy of Great Falls; his father, Jerry M. Brown of Panama City, Fl.; one daughter, Kayla Brown; two sisters, Buffy Eason of Lancaster and Mary Hunter of Great Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray Norsworthy, Jr. and grandparents, Willie Mae and Joe Smith and Osceola Brown.
