Great Falls Mr. Jervey Carol Wilson, 72, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Springs Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2014, at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Zack Williams officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, December 26, at Second Baptist Church, 40 Center St., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Wilson was born June 8, 1942 in Kingstree, SC and was a son of the late Stromer Wilson and Lena David Wilson.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was retired from Morrison Textile Machinery.Mr. Wilson was a member of the Great Falls Masonic Lodge #277 and a member of Second Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine McCormick Wilson; two sons, Jervey Darin Wilson of Rock Hill and Bryant Stromer Wilson of Great Falls; three grandchildren, Jervey Shane Wilson, whom he raised, of Great Falls, Samuel Ashton Ghent of Florida and Brandon Thomas Jones of Great Falls; one great-grandson, Landon Ghent; one brother, William Harvey Wilson of Virginia; one sister, Margie Young of Great Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a brother, David Wilson.
