Great Falls Jewel Constance Whitaker Carter,78, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Christian Assembly Worship Center with Pastor Marvin Tennant officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the Christian Assembly Worship Center. Mrs. Carter was born January 30, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Will Whitaker and Gertrude McCormick Waters. She attended the schools of Lancaster County and was a home maker. Mrs. Carter was a founding member of Christian Assembly Worship Center where she served as an Elder and Church Secretary. She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda K. Faulkenberry; two granddaughters, Amber FaulkenberryStroud (Adam) and Erica Kay Easler, both of Lancaster, SC; and two great grandchildren, Gavin Byron Stroud and Awbree Nevaeh Easler.She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Joline Harris and Faye Glisson, and her husband Lawrence M. “Bud” Carter.
