Jimmy Burns Hollis

Mr. Jimmy Burns Hollis, 75, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at his home. The funeral service for Mr. Hollis will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with the Reverend Henry Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. – 2:45 P.M. at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home on Sunday. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born August 19, 1936 in Fairfield County, Mr. Hollis was a son of the late David Vance Hollis and Hazel Pool Hollis. He Attended the schools of Fairfield County and was retired from J.P. Stevens. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Blackmon Hollis of the home; two daughter, Deborah Mills and Kim Hollis both of Great Falls; one brother, Johnny Hollis of Winnsboro; two sisters, Norma Pipkin of Charleston, SC and Betty Derring of Ridgeway, SC; five grandcildren; two great grandchildren.
