Joanne Mcmurray Raffaldt

Mrs. JoAnn M. (Susie) Raffaldt, 66, died Thursday, August 8, 2024 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Tabernacle Ministries with Rev. Kenneth Compton officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Tabernacle Ministries. Interment will be private.

Mrs. Raffaldt was born October 10, 1957 in Chester, SC and was the daughter of the late John Eugene McMurray and Barbara Jean Moore. She attended the schools of Great Falls and was retired from a career in sewing having worked in Chester and Great Falls. Joan loved yard sales and working in her yard. She adored her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of over 26 years, Floyd Lee Raffaldt, daughters, Ginger Payne (Brian)  of Chester, SC, Lisa Gaston (Craig) of York, SC and Frannie Allen of Great Falls, SC;  son, Dalton Albert (Brandy), stepdaughter, Belinda Livingston (Ronnie) of Richburg, SC; stepson, Smiley Raffaldt of Great Falls, SC; brothers, Mike McMurray of Chester, SC  and Jimmy McMurray of Great Falls, SC; ten grandchildren, Katlyn, Haley, Emily, Samantha, Haley W. Anthony, Tyler, Kenneth, Cole, and Brandon; six great grandchildren, Mason, Mackenzie, Keegan, Levi , Wesley and Sadie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill McMurray and her sisters, Gloria Childers and Sherry McMurray.,
