GREAT FALLS Mr. Joe S. Goins, 97, died Saturday, January 02, 2010 at Tanglewood Nursing Center in Ridgeway, SC. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Second Baptist Church, Great Falls with Rev. Dale Walters officiating.Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Goins was born in Richland County, a son of the late William and Lillie Moak Goins.He attended school in Richland County, was a U.S. Army veteran of WWll and retired from J.P. Stevens Company. He is survived by two daughters, Lucille Wilson of Lancaster, SC and Voncille Love of Blackstock, SC; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
