John A. Hinnant, III GREAT FALLS, Mr. John Albert Hinnant, III died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at his residence.He was 52. A graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Elmwood Cemetery in Fort Lawn, SC.Rev. Gerald Eaves will officiate. Mr. Hinnant was born in Lancaster, SC, the son of the late Mattie Singletary Hinnant and John Albert Hinnant, Jr.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and received a degree in welding from York Technical College.He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his son, John Michael Hinnant of Great Falls; three sisters, Debbie Burrell and husband Gentry of Chester, Alicia Gainer and husband Melvin of Lancaster, SC, and Wanda Gregory and husband Richard of Rock Hill, SC.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Doyle Hinnant.
