John Lynn Ladd

John Lynn Ladd, 75, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Tabernacle Mininstries of Great Falls with Pastor Kenny Compton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Restoration Church of the Carolinas in Indian Land, SC with Pastor Kenny Compton officiating.

John was born July 28, 1948 in Lenoir City, TN and was a son of the late J.D. Ladd and Martha Brown Ladd.  He was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, OH and attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH.  John was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam era.  He was an Evangelist of the Gospel Ministry and served the Eastern United States for 51 years.  He served on the Board of Directors of the Voice of Triumph Ministries of Blacksburg since 2021 and served on the Board of Elders at Tabernacle Ministries.

He is survived by his wife, Carleen Gregg Ladd; five sons, Thomas Ballein (Regina) of Dayton, OH, John-David Ladd Buchanan of West Virginia, Paul Ladd (Melissa) of Rochester Hills, MI, Steve Ladd (Meagan) of Centre, AL and Bobby Joe Edwards of Great Falls, SC; three daughters, Teri Louk (David) of Mansfield OH, Lynn McMurray (Eugene) of Blackstock, SC and Teresa Edwards (Ron) of Knoxville, TN; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and one sister, Sue Hall (John) of Clearwater, FL.
