Great Falls Mr. Johnny Ray Campbell, 55, died Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, SC.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at New Beginnings Restoration Ministrywith Rev. Rodger Knight and Rev. Diane Bowden officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Campbell was born December 1, 1957 in Hope, Arkansas and was a son of the late Glenn Elkins and Lessie Mae Duncan Elkins.He was a graduate of Hope High School in Hope, Arkansas and a member of New Beginnings Restoration Ministry.Mr. Campbell was an avid outdoorsman, a great family man, and a former football coach.He was retired from International Paper as a millwright. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joyce Lathan Campbell; two sons, Cody G. Campbell of Texas and Dakota R. Campbell of Great Falls; one daughter, Samantha K. Campbell of Great Falls; two brothers, Wayne Campbell of Troup, Texas and Lynn “Bull” Elkins of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two sisters, Cindy Williams of Fort Worth, Texas and Vickie Smith Peters of Okalona, Arkansas; and one granddaughter, Piper Jade Campbell of Jacksonville, Florida.
