Ms. Joyce Gaddy Kirby, age 81, of Great Falls, SC died on February 6, 2024, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at McEwen Funeral Home at Sharon Memorial Park of 5716 Monroe Rd. Charlotte, NC 28212. The family will receive friends from 12-2 and Chapel Service at 2:00 pm. Ms. Kirby was born on August 15, 1942, in Charlotte, NC. Her parents were Edgar Gaddy and Ruby Skipper Rea. Surviving include her three children: daughter, Robin M. Wagner of Great Falls, son, Robert J. Mullis (Colleen) of Murrells Inlet, SC and daughter, Tonja L. Collins (Larry) of Sharon, SC. Joyce has 13 grandsons and 2 granddaughters: of Robin (Mario, Adam and Nicholas), of Robert (Hunter, Garrett, Cole, Nate and Christian), of Tonja (Devin, Dustin, TJ, Logan, Brandon, Haley and Taylor). Joyce is also survived by 6 siblings: Ed Jr. Gaddy of Charlotte, NC, William B. Gaddy (Buddy), wife Kari of York, SC, Victor J. (Jerry) of Charlotte, NC, Ray P. Gaddy, wife Debbie of Charlotte, NC, Pamela Gladden of Charlotte, NC and Wanda D. Forbes, husband Jack of Charlotte, NC. Joyce was a business owner, intelligent, artistic, faithful, kind, good-hearted, loving mother, who made an impact on everyone she knew.
