Joyce Nadine Tuttle Smith

GREAT FALLS, SC: Mrs. Joyce Nadine Tuttle Smith, 81, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Blackmon and Rev. Chase Catledge officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church followed by the interment at 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born June 1, 1933 in Great Falls, SC, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late C.W. and Laura Sizemore Tuttle.She was a graduate of the schools of Chester County and also nursing school.She retired as an LPN having worked with Home Health Care, Community Long Term Care, Chester County Schools and the County Health Department.Mrs. Smith also worked with Rebound and also Springs Memorial Hospital.She was a lifelong member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was a former choir member, Sunday School Teacher and youth worker. Mrs. Smith was the widow of Charles Ray Smith. She is survived by five sisters, Carolyn Barton, Doris Bailey and her husband Mickey, Pat Yoder all of Great Falls, SC; Ann Tuttle of Lancaster, SC and Dorothy Jordan (John) of Greer, SC and twenty-four nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by three brothers, E.G. Tuttle, Carl Tuttle and Billy Tuttle and two sisters, Geraldine McDowell and Betty Roddey.
