Judy Ann Thompson

Judy Ann Thompson, 74, died Friday, January 16, 2026, at MUSC Lancaster Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Judy was born September 22, 1951 in Lancaster, SC and was a daughter of the late Clifton Thompson and Felicia Cooper Thompson.  She attended the schools of Lancaster, SC and retired from Springs Industries. Judy loved fried chicken and Pepsi Cola and spending time at the lake.  She also enjoyed getting her hair fixed and makeup done and her nails polished.  Judy enjoyed teaching her family how to cook and watching Lifetime movies.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Rachel Flannigan (Todd Trotter) of Great Falls, SC and Stephanie Wright (Chad Roberts) of Camden, SC; four great grandchildren, Madison, Tanner, Paisley and Ryker; one sister, Kathy Bush (Spencer) of Cassatt, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and the love of her life, Robert Donnie Lane, Sr.  In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by two daughters, Alisha Lane Flannigan and Angela Sandra Lane; one son, Robert Donnie Lane, Jr.; and two sisters, Sylvia Robinson and Sandra James.
