Julia Elizabeth Stroud

Julia Elizabeth Stroud, 75, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at MUSC Chester Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Heath Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. David Ussery officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the social hall of the church. Julia was born July 31, 1947 and was a daughter of the late Lawrence E. Stroud and Myrtis Knight Stroud. She was an avid reader and lover of horses, dogs and people. Julia was a life-long member of Heath Chapel UMC. She is survived by two brothers, Dr. Lawrence E. Stroud, Jr. and wife, Susan of Pendleton, SC and David A. Stroud of Greenville, SC; and two nephews of Pendleton, SC.
