Fort Lawn Mr. Kenneth David Eagle, Sr., 75, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Roger Shuford officiating.Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday in the social hall of First Baptist Church. Mr. Eagle was born September 22, 1942 in Stone Creek, VA and was a son of the late Dave H. Eagle and Daphine Parsons Eagle.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and USC–Lancaster where he received a degree in Criminal Justice.Mr. Eagle was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam for four years.He was former police chief for the towns of Great Falls and Fort Lawn. He is survived by two sons, Kenneth David “Kenny” Eagle, Jr. of Fort Lawn and Preston Porter (Katherine) of Great Falls; one daughter, Linda Jacobs (Frank) of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Eagle Reagan (Matt) of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Eagle of Kill Devil Hills, NC; and a special friend, Betty McFalls.Mr. Eagle was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Hudson Eagle.
