Fort Lawn Mr. Kenneth Clayton "Meathead"Hensley, 79, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Springs Memorial Hospital.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Grover Johnson, Rev. Curtis Cameron, and Rev. Gary Hensley officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends anytime at the home, 1337 Riverview Cr., Ft. Lawn, SC and from 10:00 to 10:45 AM on Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6924 Wateree Rd., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Hensley was born April 4, 1933 in Spartanburg County, SC and was a son of the late Ralph Hensley and Hattie Williams Hensley.He attended the schools of Lyman, SC and was a retired electrician with IBEW.Mr. Hensley was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Moseley Hensley; two sons, Rev. Gary Hensley and wife Rhonda of Spartanburg and David Hensley and wife Jackie of York; two daughters, Cathey Hensley of Ft. Lawn and Becky Cunningham of Great Falls; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Covenant Baptist Church, 200 Evangel Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29301, Mt.
