Great Falls Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Johnson, 59, died Thursday, May 3, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2018, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6924 Wateree Rd., Great Falls with Rev. Dewayne A. Martin, Rev. J.D. Wilson and Rev. Dr. Marty Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, May 6, at the home of his mother at 8 Maple St., Great Falls. Kenny was born November 26, 1958 in Philipp, Mississippi. He attended Northside High School in Memphis.Kenny came to know the Lord and was baptized at Vollintine Baptist Church in Memphis in the mid 1970’s.He was employed by Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home of Great Falls and Barron Funeral Home of Chester as a grave supervisor for more than 30 years. Kenny formerly served on the town council for the town of Great Falls. He is survived by his wife, Janie Bell Anderson Johnson; two sons, Torrey Hobson (Cheri) and Carlos Johnson both of Great Falls; one daughter, Brittany Nicole Johnson of Great Falls; one step son, Ricky Anderson, Jr. of Greenville, SC; his mother, Earline Dixon Johnson of Great Falls; seven grandchildren; one brother, Hosea Johnson of Great Falls; one sister, Alice Stephens of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Jet Lee Johnson.
