Langford (L.P.) Peake

Lake Wateree Mr. Langford (L.P.) Peake, 82, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at Kershaw Health Hospital in Camden. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Lake Wateree Baptist Church with Mr. George Eleazer and Hospice Chaplain Mark Bredholt officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at the home, 96 Wateree Estates Rd., Winnsboro, SC 29180. Born August 15, 1928 in Kershaw Co., SC, he was a son of the late William Milton and Mae Belle Peake. He attended the schools of Kershaw Co. and was a member of Lake Wateree Baptist Church where he served many years as a Sunday School teacher. He is survived by his wife, Connie C. Peake and one brother, Bonnie L. Peake of Lakeview, SC. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Tri County, 2039 W. Dekalb St., Camden, SC 29020.
